With the announcement of the “Show Us Your Eggs” competition, the anticipation of winning is high in the community! We understand that with anticipation comes questions, so we hope these answers to the most frequently asked questions will help.
Q. Is my egg NFT completely unique?
While the chances of someone else having the exact egg NFT as you are low, there are multiple copies of each egg NFT. Depending on the rarity of the egg, the number of copies varies. So if you have received the rarest egg NFT, then yours may be completely unique. However, it is safe to assume that there is at least one other person who has the identical egg NFT as yours.
Q. What are the winning criteria?
If your egg NFT has been selected as the week’s winning egg, you must follow these steps to solidify your win:
- Complete all the prerequisite tasks
- Fill out the claim form within 48 hours of the announcement
- Respond to the email to confirm delivery details
You do not have to meet any wallet balance or staking requirements, unless otherwise stated.
Q. My egg has been selected, but I did not respond within 48 hours. What happens?
Unfortunately, if you do not complete the claiming process within 48 hours of the announcement, your winnings are forfeited. Better luck next time!
Q. What if both someone else and I have the same winning egg, and complete the claim process within 48 hours?
That’s a tough one! In the case more than one person has the winning egg NFT and has completed the claim process within the 48 hours time limit, the winner will be decided on the following criteria:
- Highest miner health wins. If one of the winners does not have a miner, then the miner health value is assigned as “0”.
- If more than one winner has identical miner health value, then the winner with the higher amount of MXC in the miner fuel tank wins.
Therefore, there can only be one winner per round.
Q. What are the prizes?
Each round of Show Us Your Eggs will offer a prize pack. The prize pack includes:
1 x Oculus Headset
1 x Limited edition apparel
1 x Special merch pack
Q. I have been selected as the winner, and I have completed the claim form. What should I do next?
You do not need to do anything else. We will check your entry to ensure that you are indeed the legitimate winner. If you are, we will contact you via email to receive required information to send you the prize pack. This process may take up to 3 business days.
Q. I replied to the email and provided my shipping details. I still have not yet received my prize pack! What happened?
We are very sorry to keep you waiting! It may take up to 5 business days for us to process the shipment of the prize pack. Once processed, you will receive an email confirmation that the prize pack is on its way! Please allow up to 15 business days for the prize pack to be delivered.
Q. I have been contacted to provide my information. Is this legit?
We salute you for being cautious! Please ensure that the originating email address is from the official mxc.org email address.
Moreover, we will never ask you to pay for shipping or claiming the prize. We will also never ask you to provide us with any payment information, wallet seed phrases, and other financial information.
